“People often comment on me, being very different from how the typical Scandinavian guy dresses. I like it when they say that. Whether they mean it in a good way or bad way. I’ve also approached fashion by separating myself from anything that is mainstream, because who wants to look like everybody else?
Ordinariness, in all aspects of life really, is uninteresting to me. To me, fashion is a way to be creative. When Instagram became a thing, I felt like I had the opportunity of both being creative with how I dressed, but also being creative with images, and the layout I posted. It sorted of gave me the possibility of challenging the way we approach and perceive fashion and how we collect inspiration.” – Kristian Brandt
