For Pre-Spring 2027, we're roughening up preppy and sharpening up workwear.

It all started with the idea of a guy from the ‘90s borrowing a few pieces from his grandfather’s ’60s wardrobe, then heading north to escape the noise of the city.

HERO PIECES

The preppy staples are all there. Crisp Oxford shirts, a heritage-pattern varsity, placket collar knits, and herringbone tailoring. But it’s a little less collar and comb-over, and a little more rugby in the rain.

Workwear takes a big step forward. Overshirts arrive in intricate double-faced jacquards. Denim gets the shirt-and-tie treatment. It’s still workwear, just dressed up and out of the workshop.

THE MATERIALS

We went all in on checks. Bold plaids, gradients, brushed flannels. Big checks. Mini checks. Corduroy shows up where you’d expect it, and a few places you wouldn’t. Knitwear comes rugged and rustic.

Pre-Spring means texture, so we went rich, then dialled it up to a hundred. Harris Tweed returns. Hairy suede and pure patchwork wool look back, while technical sportswear straight out of 1996 Chicago keeps things moving forward.

THE PALETTE

To extend the best before date, the palette stays neutral and grounded. Brown, navy, sand, and green set the base, with mustard yellow, spicy red and royal purple for punch.

When you put it all together, it’s a textured trans-seasonal wardrobe that’ll take you through this winter, then all the way into the next.
